Mission Statement
You will find many of our members doing much more than building homes. You will find them involved in many non-profit projects, scholarship programs, and a multitude of other programs to benefit everyone in the community. We welcome everyone to visit our office and make use of our resources.
Our membership is committed to our mission statement:
The Mat-Su Home Builders Association is a diverse group of professional builders and associates. Since 1976, we have continued to promote high quality building standards and ethical business practices. We believe in providing for community service and education.
Our mission is to provide an organization wherein building contractors and persons engaged in a trade, industry or professions related to housing may meet to discuss various problems of common interest, particularly those related to labor, production and finance. To maintain high standards in the building industry, to support building contactors in efforts to rectify conditions of an unsatisfactory nature, to encourage those methods of contracting work which reduces the building contractors risks and to encourage sound business methods.
