Workforce & Local Support
Schools & students
One of our Association’s key goals is to ensure a strong, skilled workforce for the future while showing students the rewarding opportunities available in the trades.
Great Gingerbread Build-Off
A holiday fundraiser where local high school students construct creative gingerbread houses that are later judged on social media platforms. Winning teams win a scholarship reward!
Our Tools of the Trade Scholarship is designed to help individuals who are pursuing careers in the building trades by providing financial assistance for essential tools or certification programs.
Coats for Kids
Through this program, each of the Mat-Su Borough schools receive funds to be shared with families in need in order to purchase warm, winter gear or other necessities.
Co-sponsored by Vannoy Electric.
